Mobile Water Packaging Systems

To sustain deployed Marines operating in the world’s most austere environments, the U.S. Marine Corps requires a system for delivering easily transportable drinking water on forward operating bases.

In support of their efforts, Sotera designs, develops and rapidly deploys mobile water packaging systems (MWPS) capable of filling a variety of pre-formed pouches for individual use. The system ensures full portability and an extended shelf life of the water packages. Sotera’s MWPS is ruggedized to operate in even the harshest environments, automated to integrate with military trailers and flexible enough to connect with any potable water source with onboard UV and micron filtration to assure water quality.

As a result, forward operating bases can rapidly and easily access water and individual Marines have a light-weight transportable water source while conducting critical outbound mission in theater.
